Using 1 PST file for multiple email accounts in Outlook

I want to set up Outlook 2016 on a windows 7 laptop. I will be setting up 4 POP3 email accounts just as I have on my other computers. They all have their own .pst files on the other computers and I wonder if I can set them up on the new computer to use the default account's .pst file for the three others? I've never chosen the 'use existing .pst file' when setting them up on my existing computers.

Are there any advantages to doing so other than just having one .pst file to backup and manage. That is enough for me to do it if it can be done.

I imagine that all the email accounts would have to use the same Internet Service Provider.

Also if you read through the info you will see that you cannot select which email account will be used for outgoing emails.
