Alright Peaches and gohardsupreme...I am going to do some research and see if I can find something that we haven't already tried. I'll get back to you.

Did either of you use the Tech Preview?

Okay, thank you Blackrose again lol.
I am trying to reinstall it again just for the heck of it, and I'll try to look for some stuff too.

I was just installing it, and my laptop shut off during it, and that Windows Install Cleanup you suggested last night recognized all of the Office stuff, so I selected it all and a black box came up so I think it's in the process of removing it, then I will try again. I don't know how to tell when it's done though...

Peaches: If it's a command line box, then it is working. When it's done, the box will close. Then you can restart and go ahead and try to reinstall.

gohardsupreme: OK, well, I will keep looking and see what I can figure out.

Okay, I will do that. :)
How long does it usually take, mine hasn't done anything new in the box for about 25 minutes lol.

Peaches: It should have been done by now...lol.

gohardsupreme: Yeah, it seems that Office is very picky about installing when you have had a previous version installed, or have leftovers from another install on your system. Have you tried a registry cleaner?

Yeah I'm giving up with Windows Installer, and I'm almost ready to just completely re-install Windows 7, as this would probably solve the problem (whatever it is) but it'd be nice if there was an easier way lol.
