    I don't think you need an invite, as it should be public now...but you will need a Windows Live ID to sign in.

    Peaches is going to reinstall, since this will obviously take forever. Plus it'd be much simpler. After everything she's installed to get Office installed, I think her system clogged up a bit (its slower from what I could tell).

    Well, sometimes that's the easiest route to go...especially with how quickly Win7 installs.

    I just did that a couple of nights ago because I couldn't get something to install.

    The few beers I'd had might have helped that decision though...lol

    Well, sometimes that's the easiest route to go...especially with how quickly Win7 installs.

    I just did that a couple of nights ago because I couldn't get something to install.

    Lol we're both underage (depressing I know) so no chance in that helping the choice anyways thanks for helping her, she says thanks to. :)

    im not sure if this information helps but just for kicks i tried to install a copy of office xp. during the install i got an error message saying that the installation source was corrupted. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah, that was the error that I got most often. Use the Microsoft Installer cleaner that I linked to earlier, and that should help that problem.

    DNG or Peaches: I'm assuming install worked perfect after a clean install. Seems Office's installation procedure needs some work...
