Office 365 does not login, neither any error is displayed

    Hi Everyone,

Need your help and expert opinion.

I am using HP Probook 4530s with Windows 7 Home Premium Basic, Office 365 and Norton Antivirus.

I need to use OneNote to access my notebooks available in OneDrive (SkyDrive).
But I am not able to login to my office 365 account using any of the office module e.g. Word, Excel, OneNote etc.

Funny thing is that Office 365 gives error message if I input wrong password for Office account.
But if I input correct ID and password for Office account, It does not login. In fact, it does not do any action apparently.

Due to this login problem, I am not able to access my notes from OneDrive using OneNote.

Additionally, my office account, OneNote and OneDrive are working perfectly fine through my Lenovo E550 (Windows 7 Professional + Office 365 + Norton Antivirus) and iPhone 6.

To solve this problem, I have recently installed everything fresh on my ProBook but it still does not work.

Note: Only licenced versions are in use.

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Sohail Ejaz

    Thanks Dear Ranger4,

    Much appreciated. This was helpful.
It seems many people are facing this issue.
There was no specific solution suggested apart from using repair tool from Microsoft.
I tried but it did not work.

Good part is that I came to know about an alternative approach to access my notes i.e. using online version of OneNotes. So all good. I think should not spend too much time on this issue now.

Again, much appreciate your help. It informed me about the alternative option.

    Cheers
