Windows 7 - Cannot install Office 2007 on Windows 7

| | Cannot install Office 2007 on Windows 7 Hi everyone! Well, Iīve just installed my Windows 7. Everything looks fine and cool, BUT now i cannot install Office 2007. When I try to open the DVD it displays a dialog box stating "You must be an administrator to install Office 2007" What the bloody hell?.  BUT I AM the administrator and, curiously, I havenīt any problems installing other programs, ONLY WITH Office 2007. Please, if someone could help, Iīd be really thankfull to him/her. Thank you so much in advance. |

| | You're not an administrator or it would not be giving that error message. Right click on the setup.exe, properties, compatibility tab - run as admin. |

| | Thank you so much for posting, Torrentg. But When I right-clicked the .exe file, the option did not even appear. I've just checked other threads and i found the solution. Thanks anyways, for trying to help.  |

| | Boot into safe mode and run the installer as administrator .... should do the trick... |

| | You right click on the .exe file and then click on properties, you will get a compatibility option, there you can check the BOX Next to Run as Administrator.... |

| | Hi 0Gravity, I am aware you may no longer need a solution, but I found it on this thread: The option of right-clicking and the option "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" would not even appear in my space. Read following istructions to enable the "Built-in Administrator Account" on this same this forum, Thatīs what solved my problem. "How to Enable or Disable the Windows 7 Built-in Administrator Account" And sorry for buggin you, Sir. I am so short of time that I seldom check my emails.
