    Office 2007 Email Problems

I have office 2007 and often need to send emails. Now I have win 7 and use WLM instead of OE, It doesn't seem to work.

I'm sure I am not the only person with this issue, but can't seem to find the answer. Google is no longer my pal on this issue, so am I mad or is it that simple to fix!

What exactly is the problem? If you have office 2007, you need to setup your email accounts. Why would you use Windows Live Mail if you have Outlook in Office?

Some versions of Office don't include Outlook.

Do you mean that when you are in a Word document, for instance, that accessing Send from the Office orb in the upper left fails to bring up Windows Mail??

Ahh, the Student version. Wow. Did not know that. I would have thought that would be in all versions.

Yes, thats my problem. Windows Live mail works fine, but not in conjunction with Office. And no, I do not have Outlook installed.

So the real problem is coping with mailto: links then, yes? All you need to do is probably change the order in which you installed Office and Windows Live Mail... :)

So are you suggesting I reinstall either office or live mail then?
