Windows 7 - Happy Face

OK. This is not a Windows 7 question.

I was in WORD 2003 and typing.

I think I had the shift key ON.

Somehow I got a happy face to show up in WORD.

Anyone know how/where to get this in WORD?

OK, I've been using a version of Word for 10 years and I didn't know that.

ASCI Code was the way we did it to draw things many years ago.
Now its much easier.

: ) = happy face (without space in center)
: (= sad face (without space in center)
:| = straight face
