    Office 2010 Updates

Does anyone know if Office 2010 updates as bugs are squashed? Will I be informed that there are updates for this program if I have the appropriate box checked?
I'm just curious to know whether Outlook's problems will get resolved over time.

    Hello TRJ357,
I'm not sure if MS will offer any updates as Office 2010 is in Beta testing. I think it's safe to assume that the next official update that you will see will be the final product

But there's a box to check off when you install it that says something along the lines of updates. I forget the exact wording now...

There will be a newer release of Office 2010 that is supposed to be the RTM version...I doubt that you are going to see any more updates until then...

Just curious but those who have installed the office 2010 beta, how much hard drive space does it take up if one is only interested in installing word, excel and power point? The reason I ask is I have an oooold machine I am running win 7 right now and its hard drive is quite tiny and I just wanted to find out what the disk usage would be.

I doubt that there will be a release candidate. It will probably go straight to RTM, in which case you will not see any updates and will have to purchase Office to get the RTM.

You have to go into Control Panel->System and Security->Windows Update-:>Click the link that says "Receive updates for products other than Windows..."...amongst those lines of text...

If any Office 2010 updates become available...that is how you will receive them
