Outlook 2007: change default new mail folder

I use outlook 2007 for IMAP Gmail, and I have changed the default startup folder to Gmail inbox. However, whenever I received a new mail notification and I click it on, it goes to the default personal inbox folder. Is there anyway to change this action so when I click on new mail notification, it will bring me to Gmail's inbox instead of personal inbox?

    Thanks,
    CW.

I had the same problems once and solved it.
Too bad I'm having a senior moment and can't remember how I changed it.
I'm sure someone will step in and help.

This is not what I want. I have already stated, I have changed my startup folder. What I want is when I click on the new mail notification, it will being me to the folder where there is new mail. But the action when click on it is it bring you to the personal inbox folder instead of the folder that has new mail.

BTW, is it me Win7 is buggy, the new mail notification doesn't work for both Outlook and Live mail. It was working for outloook yesterday when I install it. After I restarted the computer, it doesn't work anymore. I only get a beep now instead of the new mail notification. I have select to show all notification, but it's not showing either.
