Windows 7 - Office 2010 Beta 2

Beta 2 is out there.

Is anyone using it or planning on using it?

Think I'll wait sense I am testing both the Beta and the new Home and student (by invitation on the home and student also).

Just DL'd from Technet and installed. Uninstalled Office 2007 cleaned registry and install went fine with no error messages. Haven't really used it yet. Called up one excel file and it loaded with no errors. Everything else boots up with no errors. Outlook is working fine.

I exported all of my .pst's from 2007 and was prepared to import into the new module and when I called it up It had all my mail accounts already configured with mail in the boxes. DUH! I must have left some files on my disk that the install found.
In answer to the question about beta 2. It doesn't say beta 2 but the ver is 14.0.4536.1000 (64-bit)

Well I might give it a try, but I would want to set it up alongside Office 2003 and not over it so when I diside to remove it I still have 2003 and not have to set it back up.


PS: Tho right now I only use outlook with any frequency :P

anybody who is trying it -- can they test to see if some of the probs with the original Beta 2010 have been fixed (64 Bit version please).

But, it's not official Public release.
It's leaked version.

Heard today at a MS event, that O2010 is in RC now. Is that officially released?
