    Office 2010 un-installation

Hi Guys, I recently installed Office 2010 and love it, trouble is I was importing my PST files and the PC froze on me and I had to hard reboot. Sadly all the PST file was not imported correctly, have tried importing it again but it won't let me. So now I want to completely un-install Office and make sure the PST file is also removed and then reinstall it all again any tips please. I don't want any remnants at all left. Thanks

This is the version you would need to pay for after 30 days, but if only using it to uninstall MSO 2010 the pro version (which is the link above) is best for cleaning out all traces.

    Hello SP.

In addition to the excellent advice above, there's also CCleaner, at the link below.

You should be able to use this to find the file path.

then just navigate to where the pst file is delete it and replace it with a good copy. make sure everything that all outlook 2010 processes are closed. in outlook go to file, account settings, data file, open file location. leave the file location window open and close outlook. now in the explorer window with your pst file you can now delete it. once deleted place a copy of the good file in that folder. you should be good to go.

The PST File is normally at C:{User}\Users\Gary Bartlett\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

If yours isn't there, look here for it's location:

File Tab > Account Settings Button > Account Settings > Data Files Tab > Click on the file > Click on Open File Location
