Opening links inside emails in Outlook 2007

For some reason, suddenly, I can't seem to open links inside emails that I get in Outlook 2007 due to some security restrictions that I can't find or are unaware of. Anyone know how to correct this?

See if this applies to your problem:

You may need to add the sender to your safe senders list.

Thanks for the help, I did what was suggested in the link but still no joy.

Here's the message I keep getting. I am unaware of where to search to disable these security settings...

Obvious question, are you the system administrator?

Are you receiving your email in plain text?

Check this article in the Knowledge Base. While it does not specifically address your problem, it might give you some clues. Do you have any addons to Outlook that could be causing this? Could your anti-virus/anti-malware program be blocking active links?

This one is not specifically for OutLook 2007, but it might be the cource of your problem - File Association

Please let me know if any of these solve your problem.

Timely question, I am having the same issue.

Thanks for the links, if I don't read a solution before I have a chance to try to fix mine up this evening, I'll post the solution that works for me.

Thanks for the links guys! Helped out a bunch. It's working now, however I'm not so sure what or how it happened. I don't remember changing any of the settings listed. Maybe I'm just haunted or something.

To save a couple of jumps, the HTML fix registry entries on this page is what I used, and it worked for me.

    Windows XP File Assocation Fixes

I installed the htm/html registry fix and I can now click on links in Outlook 2007.
