Sometimes, when I am switching from Outlook module to module, the Tasks (which are mine) under My Tasks, along with To-Do List, somehow switches to showing the To-Do List Tasks instead of the My Tasks Tasks. I have tried playing with the order of the listing of these "folders" to no avail. I have tried deleting and closing the To-Do List, but it does not work.
Is there some way to tell Outlook 2010 (this also happened in 2007) that the ONLY Tasks I want to see are My Tasks> Tasks? (These have the Task icon next to them, whereas the To-Do List 'Tasks' have the Flag icon.)
I have searched far and wide and been unable to find a suitable answer to this question. Yet it drives me nuts when I switch back to view my Tasks and they are not there. I keep the Navigation Pane minimized, so I must open that, then select My Tasks, then minimize it again. Not a huge deal, but a pain in my parts.
I am just now learning some of the 'guts' of Outlook, so I know that it is very powerful. It seems like it should do what I want. I'm sure I am not the only person who does not use the To-Do List and Flags.
