Windows 7: Smart Shapes print issues. What I see is not what I get

Hi,

I've been having a problem with printing Shapes in Excel. I find that whatever I draw with the Shapes, but when I print it, the lines I drew are significantly shifted. It has happened multiple times. Attached are screen shots, first of how the shape appears in excel, and the next screen shot is how it shows when saved as a pdf (and my physical printer produces the same erroneous result as the pdf).

Any ideas on how to fix this?
