Having just installed Win 7 on my Dell Dimension 9150 and my existing Office 2007 I notice that the text size in Outlook is very small in comparison to what it was in XP. Is this to do with my graphics card (Radeon X600 Series) or another setting.
Unlike Word, Excel etc Outlook has no percentage screen size that you can increase in the bottom right hand corner.

Trying to change the DPI but it would seem to affect all applications. The only program I have a major problem with is Outlook 2007 as there is no "Change Zoom Level" in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
Why is the font size for Outlook 2007 different under Win 7 Pro than it was under my previous XP. Could it be something to do with incompatibility with the display driver?
When I ran the the WIN 7 Upgrade Advisor on my XP installation (I am still using the same computer) it did say that Win 7 Aero features might not work although from what I can tell they are! Very confused. Am I missing something or have done something wrong with the custom installation of Win 7 Pro 32 bit?
A quick search shows that the X600 board has only 128mb of memory. If this is true you need to upgrade that soon or turn off Aero. This may not help your Outlook problem but it may help the system overall.

In Outlook, click on tools then, options, then mail format.
See if unchecking 'Rely on CSS for font formatting' makes any difference.
Another thought ... Outlook is tied into "Word", so take a look and see what size the font is set to.
Hi Ken, Then how come Aero features seem to work or am I not understanding correctly what Aero does?
Have given this a try but it makes no difference. It is the whole display on any Outlook screen that has the very small font not just the text within emails.

Change the font or font size of the message list
The message list appears between the Navigation Pane and Reading Pane in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. The default font setting is Segoe UI regular 8-point.
You can customize the font and its appearance. For example, you can change message list to use an alternate font or a smaller or larger font size.
1.In Mail, on the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
Tip To open the Customize View: Messages dialog box, right-click the message list heading where Arranged By appears, and then click Custom.
2.Click Other Settings.
3.Under Column Headers and Rows, click Row Font.
4.Click a font, font style, and size that you want to use.
5.On the Font, Other Settings, and Customize View: Messages dialog boxes, click OK.
