Outlook 2010 Move Message to Folder

In Outlook 2007, to move a message to another folder, you can right-click on it, select Move, and the entire folder list appears.

In Outlook 2010, an additional keystroke is required because only the ten most recently used folders are displayed.

How can Outlook 2010 be configured the same as 2007?

    Thanks for your help.

Was there a reply to this post from Feb-2010?
I am raising this request again:
Is there a way to add more folders to the ten most recently used folders that are displayed under the MOVE icon (move or copy the selected items to another folder) in Outlook 2010?

Fix > Outlook 2010 Move Message to Folder

There isn't anyway to expand the MRU (Most Recently Used) folder list. Let me ensure that I am understanding your question ... you are reading your emails in the "message screen" (i.e., the tab on the upper left corner of the screen says "Message") and when you click the "Move To Folder" icon on the Ribbon, the MRU folder list appears with the 9 most recently used folders + the "other folder" and "copy to folder" options.

Unfortunately there isn't any way to expand this MRU folder list. However there is a workaround that you might find suitable. You should have a "Quick Action Toolbar" that will be displayed either above or below the Ribbon. If you click the down arrow at the end of the "Quick Action Toolbar" and then click "more commands" you will be able to add the "Move To Other Folder" icon to the "Quick Action Toolbar". Then when you are reading your email in the "message screen", just click the "Move to Other Folder" icon on the "Quick Action Toolbar" (not the icon on the Ribbon) and you will be able to move the email to any of your mail folders.

I am using Win 7 with Outlook 2007, but this fix should work for Outlook 2010.

    Good luck.

When in the Home tab, click on the down arrow next to Move. There should be the list of 10 folders to which you've recently moved emails as well as a celection for
    Other Folder...,
    Copy to Folder..., and
Always Move Messages in this converstion......

Click on Other Folder.... and the complete folder list will appear.

You guys are missing the point. Outlook 2007 was better in this regard than Outlook 2010, because you could move your emails to another folder with one less mouse click. It makes a difference when you're moving lots of messages all the time....
