Mcrosoft Office Trial Uninstall leaves files

Hi, I unstalled Microsoft Office Home and Student 60 day trial from my Win 7 Home Premium. However, when I explore my hard disc, I see Microsoft Office files still on the hard disc. Are they necessary for other programs in Windows? I have switched to Open Office and I really don't want files that I don't need on my HDD. Thanks in advance for your help.

PS. My system specs are listed. This was an OEM installation (Toshiba).

They aren't crucial for anything on your PC if you uninstalled MS Office.

You can delete if you want if you're a clean freak like me or you can leave them (although if you ever do install MS Office you may run into problems with those files still being there, but by the sounds of it that's never going to happen).

Use ccleaner to remove any left over files and registry entries.
