    Problem: MS Office2000

First post so I hope someone that has experienced my problem can assist please.

Installed Office 2000 - as Administrator and also opened Properties to run in XP SP2 (tried 3 also).
Now, every time I try to open Outlook, I am shown a message to the effect that a previous edition was installed. Button choice is either yes to allow same configuration or no. If I choose yes then Outlook opens email received but: "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working etc. Close program". I then have the same wizard again. Press yes and all is ok except that my Organized incoming mail is only in Inbox not folder it should be.

If I select No in original option at start I am informed that feature is not available and that I should insert MS Premium disk etc.

Very confusing! I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times without success.

Sorrry for my rather convaluted post.

Is MS 2000 incompatible with Win 7?

ryo, Thanks for very prompt reply.

I do not wish to purchase an upgrade when MS Premium worked perfectly for me for many years.
