Windows 7: Can't Send Email by Link?

Hi, I am having trouble sending a web page link using Microsoft Outlook 80% of the time. I'm using Office Professional 2007. I perform the following steps;

File / Send / Link by Email

As you know, normally a new message window will pop up with the link inside the message window. This doesn't happen, instead the web page I'm on freezes up and the only way to clear it up is to close Outlook. Is there a setting somewhere to clear up this problem. When this happens, go to search. In search type event viewer and look for errors about the time that it happened
