Do you mean a free upgrade to Office 2010 from 2007 if you bought 2007 after a certain date?

Yeah basically - I got a student discount for Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 for 38.95 or something and if I bought it within the certain time which I did I can get Office 2010 when it's released

Did you get any kind of documented agreement with it? Did you read through and see if it explains how to do it exactly? Maybe contact (email) the place you bought it from to ask about it?
