My husband has a new laptop with windows 7 & is pulling his hair out trying to work out how to use it. How do you create a new folder in word, I can't find the icon anywhere?

Can you please explain your problem in more detail? Do you want to create a new folder when trying to save a document?

Thanks for your welcome. I posted a reply to my own question. My husband wanted to create a new folder to drag some web doc's into, but he couldn't find the folder (picture) icon, as 7 just has the words 'new folder'. I worked it out when I managed to get a longer than 10 second look at it. Mensa told him he is a super genius (he is very intelligent), but I wonder if they do a similar test for common sense.
