Windows 7: Office 2010 Uninstall Issue

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.

When I was installing Office 2010 it seemed to freeze up near the end of the installation, so I pressed 'Cancel' and it seemed to successfully cancel, but then it asked me to restart my computer. So I did, and Office 2010 appeared to be installed, but none of the programs work. So it looks like I have a partial installation. Problem is, it won't let me uninstall. The message I get is "The language of this installation package is not supported by your system." I want to try to get this off and try to start over with a fresh install. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not done this myself, but I have seen a report that if you use this procedure and replace anything that says "Office 12" with "Office 14", it could work. You can also try the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility which is not described for Office 2010 but I have seen it being recommended for different Windows applications

If it was done recently, you could try a system restore.

i use ripoffice then revo uninstaller
