    Uninstall 2010 Beta

I have been using 2010 office beta and do not find it worth the cost of upgrading to a paid version. How can I go back to my Office 2007 without loosing all my eamils?

    Thanks,

    Thom

    Welcome to the Seven Forums!

I'm sorry, but I don't think there is any way to downgrade without losing your emails, if they are stored locally. Are you are using Exchange or an IMAP protocol, or just a standard POP email account?

I am using IMAP but have many emails stored on local folders where have been deleted from the imap server. Is there any way to export these? Also what about the address book and outlook contacts?

Ha, that's the link I was just about to post!

You should be able to use the Import and Export dialog pictured in that tutorial to export both emails (by folder) and contacts to .CSV format. Outlook 2007 and other email clients should be able to read that.

Look at the following thread. You do not have to do an import/export.
outlook 2010 profile on outlook 2007

Just create a new profile once you have outlook 2007 installed and copy your pst into it.

To actually remove Office 2010 completely after you export your emails, use Revo Uninstaller. It makes sure there are no leftover registry keys and files (aside from your exported data). I was helping someone else in the same situation that couldn't uninstall it through normal means and this did the trick.
