Its bombing because the .exe file is looking for either an OS in 32/64 bit environment. So depending on what version your Windows 7 operating system you have installed on your pc will determine which version of Business Contact you need.

I understand, but is the version of business manager a 64 bit program, trying to run on a 32 bit windows 7 platform?
When Office Beta 2010 was released as a new 64 bit version it would not run with an exisiting 32 bit version.

could someone tell me in detail what this person has done i know how to copy a disc to my documents but this person has done the following and worked for them. "
This helped me. I simply copied the entire disc to a BCM folder on a temp drive. Then I edited the setup.ini file and changed the entry to "Combo3264=1".
My student edition copy of BCM was then able to install 32bit with my 32bit Office Pro Plus intallation."
