Create a Database with all my Music - MS Access

Hey peeps,

Got a bit of a project i want to do,

I want to make a database in access that can do either of the following

  • Talk to Media Player and copy all album and song information
  • Or talk to Itunes and copy all album and song information
  • Or talk to Windows Explorer.
This way it can make an automatic list of all music i have.

I want to do this because i have a vast, 350 or so albums, that needs replacing on the PC as most of it is broken and corrupt.

And also because some are downloads and others are from CDs that are either missing or scratched beyond use.

Is it possible, as i don't want to have to manually wirte the whole list by hand.

Even if i have to use another version of a media player, just want ot save hours of times.

Many thanks in advance
Lucky

Fantastic, i just googled it and it looks like it may of more use to me than thought.

I will install and use tonight once i get home as at work at the mo.

Looks like i should be able to do a check on my External Drive to see whats saved on it.

Thanks Pacinitaly
