Wishmaster, thank you for your time and effort !!
    I have sucessfully downloaded Shark 32 and 64 !
    I'm closer than I was,
Now, how do I determine if I need to set to 32 or 64 ??
When I right click on "computer" and go to properties the Computer info window opens up, it says "System Type 64 bit"
I guess I answered my question, I'm running 64 bit.
That must mean my media player is64 bit,
Can you help me configure Shark for 64 bit ??

    You're certainly welcome :)

Hopefully we can get things straightened out for and the files themselves aren't bad.

By default, Win7 will use the 32bit Media Player.
(Unless you changed the shorcut to reference the 64player, you will using 32bit player now)

Windows Media Center will be a 64bit app.

So if you are just using WMP, chances are all you need to worry about atm is the 32bit settings.
64bit will only really be needed for Media Center.

As far as setting up the 64 bit side of Sharks Codecs, it is basically the same as the 32bit side of things. I always set them the same.

With 1 exception; I disable the DIVX thumbnailer on the 32bit part, and enable it the 64bit side. (In the MKV tab)
Because Explorer itself is 64bit, MKV files will still show a thumbnail.
Although it probably doesnt matter if its enabled on both sides.

*Keep in mind my personal suggested settings may not work for all of your Video Files. It depends what variations you have.
So Sharks built in recommended may be better.

I'm on it, (I'll play with it tomorrow),
As for the files, these movies play perfectly on my old laptop so I'm assume the files are good.
Yes, I'm using WMP so I'll check setting for 32 bit,
    Thanks again !!
