One option from out of left field

Windows live essentials 2010 is currently in a BETA stage

    Windows Live Essentials beta

I have found this to be stable enough to run on live systems - you may find that as it is a later version of the programs you had installed, (I assume), It may install over the remnants you have

One installed you may find that un-installing this version will clean up your issue - even if it does not at least you will have a working application set

    Hi glennc

Sorry it took so long to get back to you (been at the golf course all day), next question i have is do ;you have a restore point prior to useing Revo to out the prog's or a backup image. It thinks it's there when it's not, maybe someone else will come along with a better idea to get it removed.
Good Idea but I pretty sure I don't. Will dig around. Thanks for the idea.

    Hello Barman58,
That sounds like it might be worth a shot. Don't think it can get worse!! Thank you!

Hello and no good luck to advise.
I have googled numerous attempts to remove Windows Live Essentials and none have worked. It is dug in pretty good and am hoping someone with experience can help me eliminate it completely. I am tired of programs digging themselves in so deeply that even the latest upgrade of Revo Pro Uninstaller (which BTW is really enhanced) can't get a piece of it. Used windows uninstaller.
Gratefully waiting for some knowledgeable assistance. Thanks again.

    Howdy whs,
Yes I tried that and just did again. It shows no components of Windows Live that are identified in the article as before. Thanks for coming to assist.
