    Windows Live Photogallery - LOST

    Hello to all,
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit system. I previously downloaded and installed the Windows Live photo gallery, swriter and something else. I deleted them, don't recall how, possibly Revo free. The problem is that I would like to load just the windows photo gallery, but when I do a download it shows me what I already have installed, the previously deleted modules, and what I can install. I've located a Windows Live folder in the x86 programs. It has a subdirectory marked photo gallery, but as I downloaded the movie maker tonight, it only shows the movie maker files. No executables for anything. Nothing shows on start menu except a Windows Live Folder with Movie Maker subdirectory.
Revo Pro shows seemingly nothing that looks like a movie maker or a photo gallery.
Can anyone assist me in removing the entire Windows Live stuff and installing just the Photo Gallery. Do not want the movie maker or any other of the modules.
    Thanks for any assistance.

Windows Live Essentials is in Programs and Features. Uninstall from there.

Go to control panel/ programs and features and UNINSTALL Windows Live Essentials, thats all the prog's you installed, do disk cleanup and a restart, then go to Windows Live site to dl'd just the photo gallery make sure you uncheck all the prog's you don't want:)

    Howdy Jacee,
Well I looked in there and don't see anything relevant. There is Windows Live Sign-in Assistant, Windows Live Sync and Windows Live Upload Tool. I don't know what they do, and may be wrong, but I don't think they will help. Please advise if I am wrong and should delete those. They are also seen in Revo Pro Trial.
    Thanks for responding!!

    Hi glennc

Don't get me wrong but using third party stuff to remove things before using the built in functions like add and remove prog's first can get you in trouble. Word to the wise third party stuff as last resort. I think all those window live prog's that are still there such as assistant, sync can be safely removed thru unistall in control panel, the do disc cleanup, look in program files and see if everything was removed and start over by dl'ding Windows Live Essentials

    Hello again,
So if I uninstall, whatever can be uninstalled, delete the folders if any left over and then do a CCleaner, that might clean me up to let me do an install?
    That would be cool!
    Thanks will try.

Sounds like you have a plan, let us know how it works. Sometimes since you outed the prog without uninstalling it thinks it's still there, so you have to reinstall the prog and then uninstall the right way to remove all the registry data

    Howdy 1Bowtie,
No luck. I uninstalled the remaining Windows Live anything, deleted the folders, deleted the start menus, ran CCleaner, even ran its uninstaller. Ran the install program for W7 Live Essentials, same exact results. Says I have three items installed including the one I want. Help?

    Hi glennc

Sorry it took so long to get back to you (been at the golf course all day), next question i have is do ;you have a restore point prior to useing Revo to out the prog's or a backup image. It thinks it's there when it's not, maybe someone else will come along with a better idea to get it removed.
