Software for Slideshows

I used to use Microsoft Photstory but have not ventured that way for years. Is there a good program that will do the same or more?

I had a presentation done for me by a professional but he used a program in the Mac world. I think the windows world can easily match it but he never told me the program.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

In my experience, there's nothing a Mac can do that a PC can't do in some manner, way, shape, or form. Windows Live Movie Maker is good, I believe you could also use Windows DVD Maker if you want to make a DVD out of it.

Edit Shortcut for Slideshows Missing on Context Menu
I have been using PowerPoint since Office XP. It didn’t have and still doesn’t have an Edit entry on the context menu for .pps or ppsx files. This is very annoying when we want to edit one of those files as I often do. I made the necessary change in the registry, and the Edit shortcut showed up on...
