You're going to want to clear your thumbnail cache. To do this, just right-click on your system drive (in "My Computer") and go to Properties, then perform a Disk Cleanup. Ensure Thumbnails is checked and click OK and it should refresh your thumbnail cache once the process completes. If this doesn't work, let us know.

Try in that case rebuilding your icon cache as noted in this tutorial: Icon Cache - Rebuild.
Let us know whether or not that works for you. If not, what format are these videos? Additionally, if this started happening recently, have you tried a System Restore to see if that alleviates the issue?

This is a common bug which happens when one deletes a file before deleting it from the WMP's library.

The best option for you is to try and rebuild the whole WMP library:

1. Shutdown WMP
2. Stop the media sharing service. Go to Start-> type "Services" into search and click "Services". Right-click on the “Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service” and select Stop.
3. Navigate to “X:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player" (X is your Windows partition). Now delete the files named CurrentDatabase_***.wmdb and LocalMLS_*.wmdb.
4. Start the media sharing service.
5. Now start Windows Media Player and build up your library again.
