    WMP12 and Flac

Hey guys, I have a problem and hope someone here can help me out. I'm able to play FLAC files in WMP12 and also on my Popcorn Hour c200. Also, streaming music to my PCH with the play-to function of WMP12 works absolutely fine as far as MP3 files go. The problem is that apparently I'm not able to stream FLAC files from my pc to my PCH using WMP12. Do I have to install an add-on or something? Does anyone have the same problem or know what I could do? thanks

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I have the PCH connected in my LAN network. Part of the problem is that if I highlight the flacs and right click, the play-to option doesn't show up in the menu. It works all fine for MP3 format, but not for Flac. I'll try and do what you suggest and plug the PCH into my pc

If you go to the source folder and not from wmp then highlight the files, alternately right click the folder of the album you wish to use then select send to your popcorn (should show in context menu to send it to)
    .
Not sure your album art will show as im not familiar with popcorn hour

Yes, I know what you mean, that's how I usually play my music, from the root folders, without opening WMP. The problem is that with Flac files this option doesn't show in the context menu, and I'm wondering how that's possible, do you know?

Wait, when I right click the source folder, it shows now in the menu. If I click the play-to option, a playlist is generated as always. But now it says "Failed to retrieve media information from media server"? The album art plays and shows on my screen, so that works fine, but the flac files all get this error message.

Yeah, I installed a hd in my PCH. So basically that's always an option, I can just drag the folder to the popcorn and play it from there. Thing is, I want my entire music library on my pc and stream it from there. All works fine with mp3 files, but flac files cause these error messages. I'm wondering if it could be a problem with tags / meta data, something like that? I don't know, I'm wondering what these error messages mean
