    WMP slideshow time


    I need some help..
    How can I change/extend playtime in slideshow view in Windows Media Player 12 (win7)?
    Default value is 04 sec but cant be changed. I was looking even in registry editor..

    You can check WMC instead, it has some pretty nice features, and you can watch your slide shows with music too.

    To change settings for your slide shows

    1.Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Media Center.
    2.On the Windows Media Center start screen, scroll to Tasks, click Settings, click Pictures, and then click Slide Shows.
    3.Change options for how you want your slide shows appear, and then click Save.

    hmm, i have folder full of photos (.jpg) and videos (.avi, mpg) in alphabetic order for presentation. WMC cant play photos + videos...

    Windows live movie maker should do the trick. Download the beta, its a great FREE software.

    ...I need to decide when the next slide fill the screen (with press of the button or mouse click...). Slideshows made by movie maker are too rigid; I cant predict what I will say in my next presentation..

    In Power Point you can add and videos to your presentation, and you can control when pic or vid should appear. Sorry for the late reply, was offline.
