    CODECS


    Hellow there

    my windows media player does'nt ecognize some files,flv,wmm.
    Would some one please tell me how to make sure that i am not missing any
    codecs. Or any easy solution to this problem

    Or, you can check Shark007's FREE Codec solutions - Windows 7 codecs No problems at all playing flv, mp4, rmvb...

    I would recommend the K-Lite Codec Pack 6.4.0
    Contains every audio/video codec out there to date for windows.
    And the best part is it's free :)

    K-Crap is OK for Windows XP but if you want to use a modern Operating System like Windows 7 you should use a modern codecpack that was specifically designed for use in Windows 7.

    Using the Win7codecs by Shark007 on Windows 7 makes all files playable in WMP or Media Centrer where-as K-Crap expects you to use an alternate player distributed with the codecpack for playback.
