Windows 7: Lost D:\Music Folder - Hidden Property

Hello all! Please excuse the newbie question. I relocated the target folder for Music downloads from the C:\default location to my D:\Music partition. Then, like an idiot, I checked the "Hidden" box. I am able to get to the "Change Folder Options" from the Help Center which is called "Click to Open Folder Options." Upon doing so, it doesn't allow for me to "see" the Music folder on my D partition which contains 65 albums(folders). I have already been successful in reestablishing the "unhide" property for the album folders but can't get the main Music folder to appear! Ugh!

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for the help.

You might see if you can apply step 3 in the tutorial below to see the hidden folder to then be able to unhide it.

If all else fails, use OPTION THREE in the tutorial below to restore the default location of the Music folder and start over.

Thank you so much for the response! I am very glad that I found this forum...it is always a pleasure to get answers to questions and then at some point, be able to answer some with my own knowledge!

Here is what I think happened.

I did make my D:\Music the destination folder for "My Music." Then, when I went to go "hide" my original "Music" folder and then "unhide" it, it got renamed to "My Music" as it is now the default music folder for my lappy! I figured this out because I went to "unhide" all within my D drive and my Music folder didn't appear, but several Windows folders did. This meant that all folders were now appearing and that it must have been renamed. It also contains the 10.5 gigs of music that I have.

Thanks again for the information. I have been working through all of those tutorials and they are great!
