Windows 7: cyberlink powerdirector 8 problem

hi guys i have a problem with my favourite program which is cyberlink power director i install it, it works i can make my movie then when i get to the part when i click publish it wont let me select mpeg-1 format which my video camera shoots in.



note: i have applied the patch on the cyberlink website that was released a while ago but it still wont let me.

any ideas? could someone install it and try making a movie in mpeg-1 format?

I hate to trash your favorite app but as someone who does thousands of BSOD's cyberlink (which I used to use myself) causes misery. there are many other apps that someone more familiar with mpeg-1 can recommend that dont app crash.

Ken, what are these apps? do they have the ability to watermark videos?

any suggestions for mpeg 4 videos? i need one that can do both.
