How do I access my movies from anywhere like the commersial? Hello everybody, I keep seeing this Windows 7 commercial where the guy is in school in a different country and the main reason for this commercial, is that he was able to access his movies from home and watch them. Here's a link for the commercial: YouTube - Culture Shocked - My Idea - Windows 7 . Anyways how can I watch my movies when I'm away from home using a different computer like the commercial? Thanks for your help. | My System Specs |

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
The commercial make it sound soooo easy, but I guess it's BS.
I don't know if I can trust other software to access my computer.
I guess I can always use a portable hard drive lol.
Take care guys. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 64bit home premium |

It's easy, but expensive.
That or the commercial is referring to cloud computing, via windows 7. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Pugh Technologies OS W7 Professional x64 CPU AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.10 GHz Motherboard MSI 870A-G54 Memory PNY XLR DDR3 1600 4x2GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 (fermi) 1GB GDDR5 Sound Card Realtek ALC892 onboard Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VE205t, Viewsonic VX2035WM Screen Resolution 1600x900, 1600x1050 Keyboard Logitec 55 Mouse Razer Deathadder PSU Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Case ThermalTake Armor A90 Mid Tower Cooling 3x 120mm in, 1x 120mm & 200mm out, self built hydro-cooler Hard Drives 977GB Hitachi Hitachi HDS721010CLA332

windows live mesh is free, and claims: Quote: With the remote connections feature in Windows Live Mesh, you can work on your computer from a computer in another location. For example, you can connect from your work computer to your home computer and access all of your programs and files as if you were in front of your computer at home. Before you can connect to a computer remotely, you need to allow remote connections to it in Windows Live Mesh. source
i haven't had the chance to play with it yet, so i don't know how easy it is. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number mickey megabyte 1234 OS ultimate 64 sp1 CPU i5 2500K 3.3@4.2GHz Motherboard MSI P67A-GD53 Memory 8 gigs GSkill Ripjaws 1600 Graphics Card amd hd6950 Sound Card creative x-fi gamer Monitor(s) Displays samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard saitek eclipse ii Mouse logitech g3 PSU antec 550 Case antec three hundred Cooling i'm a cooling fan Hard Drives ocz vertex 2e 60 gig, samsung f3 1tb, buffalo 2tb ext Internet Speed about 4 Mbps Other Info i love win7 |

Yeah, I just saw the commercial saying it was possible with Windows Live.
So it is indeed either expensive or cloud computing. The commercial also showed them extremely placated, and in a monotonic voice saying "thanks cloud"
There is only one logical explanation: Cloud computing is where the zombie apocalypse begins. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Pugh Technologies OS W7 Professional x64 CPU AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.10 GHz Motherboard MSI 870A-G54 Memory PNY XLR DDR3 1600 4x2GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 (fermi) 1GB GDDR5 Sound Card Realtek ALC892 onboard Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VE205t, Viewsonic VX2035WM Screen Resolution 1600x900, 1600x1050 Keyboard Logitec 55 Mouse Razer Deathadder PSU Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Case ThermalTake Armor A90 Mid Tower Cooling 3x 120mm in, 1x 120mm & 200mm out, self built hydro-cooler Hard Drives 977GB Hitachi Hitachi HDS721010CLA332
