Can't play music when using the remote media sharing

Hi Everyone,

I have a laptop and a desktop PC both with windows 7. I wanted to stream my media from my desktop pc to my laptop using the remote media sharing feature in Windows 7. Well, I followed all the steps and setup my windows live id on my main desktop PC and got it running. I turned on media sharing and all the other things you have to do.

I went to my laptop and turned on Windows media player and I could see that my laptop recongized my desktop pc and I can see all the music files on my laptop that are on my desktop pc, but when I try to click on them I get the following error message:

"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

Now I am able to play the recorded TV files from my Desktop which come from Windows Media Center, but I can't play any of my music files at all. I would love some help on this issue. I've tried everything I can think of and can't seem to get it work. Any help would be great!

Thanks

Josh
