autoplay

I want to be able to copy my cd's to my pc but that option does not come up when you put cd in the option is not in the control panel either its only asking where do i want it to play from this is so frustrating.

What is on the cd's? If it's data, just choose to open it in explorer and copy it all to wherever you want. If it is a music cd, just open it in windows media player and tell it to Rip it to your hard drive.

It doesn't matter which type of CD/DVD it is, even a music CD files can be accesed through Windows Explorer, in Computer.
There was never an option in Windows to just click the Autoplay option and copy a CD onto the HDD, it always had to be done manually.
