You are confused. UDF is a file system not a file type.

To get pictures of video files to play in your DVD player you have to use a piece of software designed for making Video DVDs such as Windows DVD Maker (Windows DVD Maker - How to Use).

Almost all DVDs are UDF and a UDF formatted disk will play in your DVD player assuming the stuff on the DVD is recognisable by the player (which pictures and video files are not on there own).

If you need any more explanation just ask.

What is the exact error being given by your DVD player and PC?

Are you sure you are using DVDs that your DVD player can read? Some older players may not except DVD-RW, DVD+RW or in some cases may only play either DVD+ OR DVD- (not both).
