RMVB files..
Does anyone know if there is anyway to play a RMVB file??
Hm...you might be able to find the real codecs but I am not so sure that people would be allowed to distribute it legally...
why would anyone restrict themselves to a single player.
With proper codec installation any player can play any file.
Of course it plays them...
in all players including MediaCenter,
but not x64 because there is no x64 realmedia audio codec yet.
And if that wasnt enough, streaming playback within webbrousers is supported also.
Also on the web are RAM files,
and if you associate those files to MPC or the Homecinema version, they'll play streaming also.
As Zidane24 said - install this one:
Free-Codecs.com :: Download Real Alternative 2.0.0 : Real Alternative will allow you to play RealMedia files without having to install RealPlayer/RealOne Player
after that you will be able to open rmvb files in your WMP.
PS. during installation process you can choose if you would like to install their player or not. The most important thing is not about player but about codecs and this one you should install if you don't want any additional 3rd party players in your system.
