Video Folder plays files that are not in the folder.

This may sound very strange. I have over 1500 videos in a folder. I click play in the folder to play the videos. However, media files that are not in the folder also are loaded into the play list. I double checked the video folder to see if the unwanted media files are in the folder. They are not in the folder. They are on the same harddrive, but they are in different folders. I'm not sure how to solve this problem. If anyone knows that would be nice.

    Thanks

Uhh...we are going to need more informaton...You didn't mention what you are using to play these videos. Didn't mention where they are located and where the other set is located...

I am using windows media player. Both folders are in an external harddrive. Neither folder is inside the other.

You probably have a Auto-Playlist which contains clips from both folders...
I would simply create 2 playlist with only content of the respective folder.
Link the playlist to your favorite player and double click it instead of right click and play
