is this a streaming or network problem
been trying to resolve an issue i'v got and wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
my problem is:
Just got a second, popcorn hour nmt a a210 and having problems playing recorded tv from my htpc.
My htpc is running. Windows 7 home premium with media centre,I
use remote potatoe for scheduling etc,as the htpc is in my office to keep noise out of the lounge
My original popcorn hour an a110 can access and play the recorded tv content (wrt files) from the htpc
My new popcorn a210 cannot
Neither can play wrt files from their local USB ports or a network shared storage location, so I'm assuming the htpc must be playing them for the a110 to display them
I have looked at each popcorn on the htpc's network page and both appear to have the same set up in the streaming section
the new (a210) nmt can access audio and pictures and display / play these from the htpc.
It can see the video files but cannot display/play them, this is the same irrelevant of the video file format. It just tries for a second or so and says cannot play
Both machines are fine playing any files they can play from network attached storage, so the only issue i have is the files it can't play for itself, the wrt recorded tv files on my htpc
all my network gear is gigabit netgear items, the htpc is gigabit
your thoughts please gents
