    I'm currently using 1920 x 1080 for my 23inch monitor.

I tried 800 x 600 resolution and played the clip. To my surprise there's no lag when moving my mouse around the fullscreen.

hmm seems like it's happening to my 1920 x 1080 resolution...

Try some more resolutions, sometimes there is some firmware updates for monitors. Try the manufacturer's website for this!

Hey Mitchell i just wanna thank you again for your prompt assistance.

I tried changing resolution and download monitor driver but it still doesn't help it only runs smoothly on 800 x 600 but it makes my screen looks very weird due to the size of the monitor....

Have you looked at the firmware situation for your monitor. Might be worth checking to see if your graphics card is man enough for the monitor. You only give the make of it in your specs not the model. Again check this with your monitor manufacturer. What is the make and model of your monitor BTW?

How do you connect the monitor to your PC?

So are you using the phono sockets ringed in red on the attached screenshot? You see the socket ringed in yellow, that I believe is a USB connection where you can use a memory stick to upgrade your firmware! Have you got an HDMI outlet on your PC as that will go into the socket ringed in blue. That's your best option!

I'm going to guess and say that after my screenshot you had a look at your connections. If you touched them I bet one was a tad loose!
Anyway problem solved, well done. We live to fight another day
