Problems launching audio CDs from right click menu
Although not a crash, I thought this would be the right forum to ask. Forgive me if I made the wrong call there.
I've got Windows 7 x64, otherwise performing in stellar fashion - but for some reason, if I put in an Audio CD, right click on the drive in Explorer and choose "Play" (default action) I get the following error dialog:
Windows cannot access the specified device, file, or path. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item. (OK)
Oddly. if I choose one menu option down, "Play with VLC..." that works, and video DVDs are not affected.
I've tried selecting different default players for Audio CD in Control Panel... no effect so far. Any ideas? I suspect a bad registry key somewhere
Windows 7 x64 8GB RAM
Intel H57 chipset mobo (Dell)
HDD: C: Intel X-25MG2 80GB D: Seagate 1TB E: WD 1TB Y: WD 1TB
EVGA GeForce GT240
DVD-RW: Some stock TSST drive, never modded. Ever.
