Windows 7 (64 bit OS) cannot enlarge some thumbnails

    Greetings all,

I am experiencing a problem with enlarging some thumbnails in my albums. Others enlarge normally.

If I try enlarging the problem thumbnails manually they pixelate badly.

Is there anything I can try to solve this problem?

I am using an HP computer with Windows 7 using 64 bit.

Thank you for any help that you may be able to give.

Hi and welcome to the Forum
When you say some thumbnails enlarge they don't really. What you are doing when you click on a thumbnail is to open the full size image. When the image is pixelated it usually means that you are just opening the thumbnail image again. Try this: Right click on one of the thumbnails that show pixelated and click Properties. Then click the Details tab and post here the image size in pixels.
Please also state which program you are using to view your images?

    In addition to Mitchell's suggestion,
If your enlarging past the Extra large Icons option on the page view please state so,
But if the icons are not crisp looking at Extra large I'd say it's normal,
Use Disk cleanup if more than one user exists on the machine use System clean up as well,

Make sure the box for Thumbnails is checked.
