Zooming in, in Windows Photo Gallarey I just got Microsoft Wireless 1000 mouse which came with my desktop package, i was just wondering, is the only way to zoom into a photo on Photo Gallery is to use the Zoom bar down the bottom, because i swear with the old mouse i could scroll and it would zoom in.
So can you only zoom in with the scroll bar or is there something wrong with my mouse? It scrolls fine on most other pages

Hi mate . I can zoom in a picture with mouse wheel if the document is active . If you are sure that the picture window is the active window and still it is not zooming in with the wheel, you may get it changed . | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Assembled OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit SP 1 CPU Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. So it scrawls perfectly, but not zooming in ?
As far as I know , these mice are not to be enabled . They works just fine when attached . I guess there is a problem . To be sure that your windows is problem free, you may have a SFC scan . You have to run from an advanced command prompt.
Start> In search box type cmd> Right click cmd.exe in results above and choose Run as administrator SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Hi! Mitch, Quote: 1.) So can you only zoom in with the scroll bar or 2.) is there something wrong with my mouse? Yes to #1, and No to #2.
From what I found https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/m...ures/zoom.mspx
It sounds like MS does not make a mouse with the zoom feature anymore. It is now located on the keyboard.
Probably the only way you could get it back would be to get a new wireless that has that feature.
Hey! Wait a minute....Do you still have the old mouse, does it still work? Why don't you just hook it back up?
I guess MS doesn't realize there are two types of users? Mousers, and Keyboarders.
That zoom feature to my knowledge has been a mouse feature longer than a keyboard feature. It would of been nice if they made the zoom for both. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Gateway DX4831e (Mid-Tower Desktop) OS Win 7 Home Premium 64bit Ver 6.1.7600 Build 7601 - SP1 CPU Intel i3 530 2.93GHz, 2933MHz 2 Cores 4 Logical Processors Motherboard Gateway H57M01 133 megahertz Memory 6GB of 1,333MHz DDR3 SDRAM Graphics Card 32MB Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD IGChip Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Gateway HX2000 20inch TFT active matrix TN Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 x 59 hertz Keyboard MS 'Natural' Standard PS/2 Enhanced 101-102 Key Mouse Gateway USB wired optical PSU 300watts. well to anak, my keyboard doesnt feature the zoom button, only button for windows are calucator, play/pause, and voloume.
For Arc, im only 14 and i, i dont tend to help people, i just tend to come on here when im borad and want something to read or when i have a problem.
with the command promt thing i got the message saying it did not find any violations.
For the person who said use my old mouse, i would but it is wired, and im in year 10 and have the desktop in my room, with it being in my only desk, so the whole idea of my getting a wirless mouse and keyboard to have a tad extra room. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit CPU Intel Core 2 duo E7200 @2.53GHz 2.27GHz Motherboard Gigabyte EP43DS3 Memory 4GB Ram Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Mouse 1000 All times are GMT -5.
