Remove DRM

I have some tv episodes that I'd love to burn to dvd but can't since they have DRM on them. I've tried several programs but they usually only let you convert up to about a minute or so. Is there a free program that will let you convert entire episodes and movies ?

Yes it would. There is DRM on place for a reason. You only license the content you do not own it.

That hardly makes sense. You buy a dvd, and you own it. But you buy the same thing, just as a file on your computer, and you don't own it ? Doesn't seem right to me.

You only own the right to use the one copy in the format you bought.

You do not own what is ON the DVD. You only own a license to view the content.
Ownership of the content would mean the copyright for it was transfered to you. That is not the case.
