    WMP12 low resolution 200x 200 album artwork

I am having trouble with album artwork in Windows Media Player 12/ Media center.

I just got through converting all my iTunes Music to mp3's and migrating to windows media player/center. The problem is that only some of the songs and Albums have high res artwork. All the Artwork appears to be downloaded in Media player but a few albums in Media Center still have the nice high resolution artwork. The artwork provided by Media Player does not seem to be of any higher quality. What can I do to fix this problem?

I am also having a problem with Windows Media Center displaying artwork from songs I've deleted a long time ago. I've checked everywhere on my computer and there isn't a single trace of them. I don't even know how these songs got there in the first place but Media Center

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I do give rep.

You shouldn't have had to do that.....I'm pretty sure WMP plays the AAC files (.m4a) natively now.

I can't answer your query about the album art because I don't use Media Center, and I don't like WMP as a music manager...I only use it to watch videos.:)

That is true, it does play AAC files, but Xbox does not, and I like to play my music on my Xbox.

I run all my TV through Media Center with a cable card tuner so I prefer to have music, and everything else there too so I don't constantly have to switch programs and interfaces.
Plus, I just absolutely hate iTunes.
