    Photo edition

I just have very basic abilities when it comes to computors so be kind. I have a bunch of photos that I brought from my Kodak digital camera to the picture library on my computor. Some of the pictures I would like to change by changing color, brightness, red eye etc. Is there a way I can do this without downloading any additional software? In other words, does my windows 7 have the ability to do this editing? I did bring up a single one of my pictures and left click on it to highlight it and then right clicked on it which brought up a menu that had an edit option. The only thing I could find on the edit option was a paint brush type affair and I don't want to do painting on my photos. My son-in-law said this paint option wasn't really for photos anyway. I did download Kodak Easy Share software and it does what I want it to do but I find it difficult to use and when I call support, there is such a language problem, I don't get much help.

Hi and welcome to the Forum
There are a number of free photo editors out there that will do what you want.
In the Kodak program you have one of the simpler ones and although it is a bit of a learning curve it gets easier with time. Please ask any questions you want here and lots of people will jump to your aid. Though the best start you can make is to read through the help files of the program first. Don't be shy about asking what you think are silly questions, we all had to start somewhere and you have found in the Forum one of the very best free learning centres around. You will soon be an "Expert" never fear.
    Good luck
