how to stop win7 from creating the hidden ".files"

every time I transfer a file to video or picture folder, a hidden file such as "*.jpg.files" or "*.avi.files" with the same name as the transfer file is created automatically. This is really annoying. Could someone show me how to stop Windows 7 from creating those hidden files?
BTW my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium x64

I found the solution in the other thread of this forum. It is the Vaio Analysis setting not windows 7 problem. Thanks for your reply anyway

Can you give the solution -- how did you fix it. I can't find a Vaio Analysis file and Sony web is no help. I can't locate that other thread you were referring to -- would be good to give more info for others.....
